We’re so glad you’re here.
Kinship Earth has deployed Flow Funds to a small number of bioregional organizing groups and is currently working with several communities to support the creation of their own unique Bioregional Flow Funding foundations.
For bioregional organizing groups, creating their own Flow Fund means stewarding a pool of unrestricted capital that they are trusted to deploy however they see fit, in service to their ecosystems and communities. These funds are shaped by local relationships, governance practices, and place-based priorities, enabling communities to activate local wealth, attract aligned resources from beyond the bioregion, and move capital with care and accountability over time.
This work is unfolding in partnership with the Planetary Party Protocol (PPP), a global cultural and coordination ecosystem responding to this moment of planetary crisis. The Planetary Party is not a single organization, but an emergent operating framework for bioregional collaboration - integrating culture, governance, regenerative finance, storytelling, and collective action to support place-based regeneration and long-term stewardship.
Kinship Earth is also developing a
Bioregional Flow Funding Playbook,
a practical and modular guide grounded in lived experience and real-world practice.
📘 Planned publication:
Q1 2026
We welcome bioregional organizing groups seeking support to reach out so we can explore whether there is alignment and how we might support you.
This may include partnering or helping you prepare to utilize the Bioregional Flow Funding Playbook through an onboarding process designed to support clarity, readiness, and care.

Educational Programs

For
Foundations
From impact stories to expert analysis, Kinship Earth is turning qualitative information into educational materials and programs designed to support charitable foundations with adopting Flow Funding as a giving practice. These resources will offer guidance on shifting from traditional, top-down giving to trust-based, participatory grant making rooted in Flow Funding principles.
For
Donors
From personal giving strategies to inspiring case studies, Kinship Earth is collecting and compiling the research to help donors embrace Flow Funding as a regenerative practice. Our intention is for these offerings to guide donors on how to become Flow Funding practitioners—whether by giving directly to grassroots leaders in their bioregions or, when those connections are absent, contributing to Kinship Earth Flow Fund for resource deployment to trusted change-makers. The return on investment for donors is clear: healthier, more resilient communities where they live.
For Bioregional Groups & Other Practitioners
From practical frameworks to proven tools, Kinship Earth, in partnership with the Earth Regeneration Fund, is developing the Flow Funding Starter Kit—a comprehensive resource designed to support bioregional groups and other emerging practitioners with creating their own Flow Funds. This toolkit will provide templates, strategies, and insights sourced from experienced Flow Funding organizations, empowering communities to create their own funding models and deploy resources effectively within their bioregions.
