About the event
On October 17, 2026, ORIGIN's Global Broadcast will reach a worldwide audience through ceremony, music, science, storytelling, and participatory experience - connecting local gatherings into a synchronized moment.
Kinship Earth is in alliance with ORIGIN, and we're showing up in two ways:
1. We're co-hosting local gatherings. In Mexico City, in Coatepec, and potentially others in the NE. Details coming soon.
2. We're funding communities to participate in Bioregional Activations that coincide with this moment. Bioregional communities in our network are hosting their own October 17 events — and launching bioregional activations that day, turning a single global moment into the start of something local and lasting: coordinated action on the ground, and the trust and shared governance a bioregion needs to steward its own resources. The timing is deliberate: a worldwide moment of attention is a good day to begin.
